Relief Society, which has the responsibility "to look after the spiritual welfare and salvation… of all the female members of the Church, was organized to provide 'relief of the poor, the destitute, the widow, and the orphan, and for the exercise of all benevolent purposes.' This includes 'relief of poverty, relief of illness, relief of doubt, relief of ignorance; relief of all that hinders the joy and progress of woman.' " - Julie B. Beck

Sister's In White

Sisters In White

Sisters in White is finally here.

We have been planning this for ten months and are thrilled that so many of you will be joining us. Here are some important details.

Sisters in White is this Friday evening, Oct. 29, 6:00 in Temple Cafeteria. If you have not RSVP'd about attending the dinner and which ordinance you would like to do, (session or baptisms), PLEASE do so!! We need a head count for the food. Call Mary Vach @432-3051 or respond with an email.

We are providing boxed dinners to all sisters attending Sister In White and we will be gathering in the Temple cafeteria and will start dinner at 6:00.

Those sisters doing BAPTISMS will need to be in the baptistery @ 7:00 to change and get ready so you can eat leisurely!

Those sisters doing an endowment session can either be in the cafeteria in "whites" so you can eat and get into the chapel in time for a 7:00 session, or you can be in street clothes, eat more leisurely and be in the chapel as a "block" and attend the 7:30 session. You can pick either timeline.
