Let Freedom Reign 2009

Land of the Free . . . Home of the Brave!

As we approach the anniversary of our Nation’s Independence on July 4th, Operation Support Our Troops (OSOT) will be assembling and packing boxes to send to our troops.  These men and women will not be home to join their friends and families for their own 4th of July picnics and festivities so it is important that we do our part to bring a piece of “home” to them, to recognize their service and sacrifice to our great Country and most of all, to provide them with our thanks.  It is our duty as citizens of this “Land of the Free” to thank our brave soldiers both past and present for their service!

OSOT would like to invite you to join us for our

4th of July pack out on:

Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 10:00 a.m.

  We will gather at:

The Anderson Barn

20245 SE 192nd Street

Renton, WA 98058

Remember, our pack out is also a pot luck lunch so if you have a favorite dish, please bring it to share with everyone!

OSOT has lots of goodies to put in our "birthday" bags but we are in need of donations of the following items:

If you have never been involved with one of the OSOT pack outs, it is a lot of fun and leaves you feeling very grateful for the troops and your country.  This is not sponsored by the ward, but I felt it is worthy of your consideration.  Even if you can't go help pack, feel free to contribute any items from the list to Sister Anderson.  She will get them where they need to go.
